On behalf of the International Advisory Board, the Local Organizing Committee is very pleased to invite you to participate in the sixth edition of the International Symposium on Molecular Aspects of Catalysis by Sulfides.
The symposium will be hosted in Satillieu, village located close to Lyon, in the beautiful countryside of Ardèche (France) from Sunday May 12 till Thursday May 16 2013.
Sustainable development prompts us to make our energy use more efficient while preventing global atmospheric pollution. For many years, special emphasis has been laid on the research and development of improved transition metal sulfides (TMS) catalysts (such as CoMoS, NiMoS, NiWS ...) to produce cleaner fuels meeting environmental specifications.
MACS is a unique forum highlighting the ever moving frontiers in the field of TMS catalysis from fundamental understanding to application. It aims at bringing together scientists from academic research, applied research and industry (refiners and catalysts suppliers). The participation of PhD and post-doctoral students is greatly encouraged.
A special issue of Catalysis Today, gathering selected contributions, will be edited after the symposium.
